Independent filmmaker Ron Atkins, whose previous movies include SCHIZOPHRENIAC, NECROMANIAC and EYES OF THE CHAMELEON, gave Fango the word that his shocker MUTILATION MILE is now hitting DVD. The movie was inspired by real-life brothers Jimmy and Jack DeGrasso, who slaughtered over 17 people during a two-day murder spree in 1993.

The disc will be released next Tuesday, December 21, and can be ordered now at the movie’s official website; it presents the movie in a 4x3 transfer from the original masters with Dolby Digital 2.0 sound, plus trailers and TV spots. A homage to the exploitation/horror/crime films of the ’70s, MUTILATION MILE follows its two antiheroes (played by Daniel McCabe and Lawrence Buchér) as they embark on a drug-fueled rampage of murder, slaying thugs, hookers and druggies as they attempt to track down their uncle’s killer. Check out the official site linked above to see the trailer, read reviews and find out more.
