The vampire/Western mashup movie BONNIE & CLYDE VS.
DRACULA has been playing around the festival circuit for a couple of years now,
picking up accolades and awards. Now comes word that it’s heading for
commercial release next year.
Distributor Indican Pictures gave Fango the scoop, and the first look at the DVD cover art seen here.
Theatrical release for BONNIE & CLYDE, written and directed by Timothy
Friend, is planned for Valentine’s Day, with the disc hitting in April. The film
toplines genre starlet Tiffany Shepis (pictured above) and actor/DEADGIRL
scripter Trent Haaga as the bank-robbing duo, on the run from the law after one
of their crimes goes bad and a companion is wounded. Seeking shelter, they wind
up at the mansion of the insane Dr. Loveless (Allen Lowman)—who’s got a certain
fanged Count (Russell Friend) dwelling in the basement of his mansion. T. Max
Graham, F. Martin Glynn, Jennifer Friend (who also produced with Joseph Allen)
and Anita Cordell co-star. You can watch the trailer below and see the movie’s
official website here.
