With all the animal-rights discussion generated by Eli Roth’s recent comments re: Sea World (see item here), some of you might be feeling like striking a blow on behalf of our aquatic friends. And genre filmmaker has just the vehicle for you: his on-line game POLAR BEAR PAYBACK!
Being hosted on the web by Adult Swim here, the game is “an ultra-gory revenge fantasy where you get to play an angry polar bear mauling the shit out of baby-harp-seal hunters, whalers and evil corporate bigwigs,” Perez tells us. “You get to suck out their brains, too. As an added bonus, when you rip a seal hunter to shreds, the baby seals cheer you on!” Perez previously staged seafaring carnage as the writer/director (under the pseudonym Ace Hannah) of MEGA SHARK VS. GIANT OCTOPUS, and recently wrapped the serial-killer film SOME GUY WHO KILLS PEOPLE; stay tuned for an update on that one very shortly!
