Fango got the scoop on a DVD release for NEIGHBOR, the gruesome Robert A. Masciantonio-written/directed film starring America Olivo from FRIDAY THE 13TH and BITCH SLAP. We also just heard the final specs for Anchor Bay’s discs of the Kevin Costner chiller THE NEW DAUGHTER.

NEIGHBOR, in which Olivo plays a nameless Girl (pictured) who bloodily tortures and terrorizes the residents of a suburban street (with makeup FX by Vincent J. Guastini), will be issued on DVD by Lionsgate Home Entertainment this summer. A date and details are to be announced; the movie’s official website can be found here. Look for a story on NEIGHBOR in a future issue of FANGORIA.

THE NEW DAUGHTER, in which Costner plays a father trying to save his daughter (PAN’S LABYRINTH’s Ivana Baquero) from malevolent forces dwelling near their new home, will be accompanied on Anchor Bay’s DVD and Blu-ray (streeting May 18) by the following special features:

• Audio commentary by director Luis Berdejo

• “THE NEW DAUGHTER: Behind the Scenes”

• Theatrical trailer

Retail price is $29.97 for the DVD, $34.98 for the Blu-ray. Berdejo discusses THE NEW DAUGHTER in Fango #293, on sale in April.
