An early photo from JULIA’S EYES (LOS OJOS DE JULIA), the latest chiller to have Guillermo del Toro on board as a producer, has appeared on-line with news that the movie has started selling to assorted international territories. Check out the pic after the jump.

Screen Daily reports that the co-production between del Toro, Focus Features and Rodar y Rodar has sold to Optimum Releasing in the UK, CinemaMondo in Scandinavia, Kino Swiat in Poland and Rosebud in Greece, with more deals expected to be signed this week. Belén Rueda (pictured) from the del Toro-produced THE ORPHANAGE stars in JULIA’S EYES as a woman who, while dealing with the loss of her sight, investigates the mysterious death of her twin sister. Directed by Guillem Morales from a script he wrote with Oriol Paulo, the film also stars Lluís Homar, Daniel Grao, Héctor Claramunt, Julia Gutiérrez Caba and Francesc Orella, with cinematography by ORPHANAGE’s Óscar Faura and FX by DDT.
