Anchor Bay Entertainment has announced that it will release the sci-fi/horror feature GROWTH on DVD September 7. Read on for the details and a look at the cover art.

Written and directed by BREATHING ROOM’s Gabriel Cowan, who also produced with Amiee Clark, GROWTH stars Mircea Monroe (previously seen in THE BLACK WATERS OF ECHO’S POND and NO MAN’S LAND: THE RISE OF REEKER, among others) as Jamie, a young woman who returns with her boyfriend, stepbrother and best friend to the island where she grew up, to sell the family property. The isle was once the site of scientific experiments resulting in a parasitic outbreak that killed most of the population—including Jamie’s mother—and the infectious critters reappear to terrorize the new arrivals. The cast also includes Christopher Shand, Nora Kirkpatrick, SLEEPWALKERS’ Brian Krause, HATCHET’s Richard Riehle, Mackenzie Brooke Smith, CABIN FEVER 2’s Alexi Wasser and Stuart Gordon film regular Ian Patrick Williams. The movie will be presented in anamorphic 2.35:1 widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, plus the following extras:
