Richard Gale’s horror/comedy short THE HORRIBLY SLOW MURDERER WITH THE EXTREMELY INEFFICIENT WEAPON has become an on-line sensation, and Gale has produced a couple of follow-ups since, the latest being SPOON VS. SPOON. See the new short and the filmmaker’s comments on its genesis after the jump!
“Since we put THE HORRIBLY SLOW MURDERER on-line seven months ago,” Gale tells Fango, “it has received over 5.7 million views, and we have received thousands of comments offering suggestions on how to eliminate our seemingly unstoppable murderer. One of the most popular ideas was to attack him with his own weapon: a spoon. The new film presents the epic showdown as our embattled hero takes on the Ginosaji…with a spoon. Enjoy!
“If you haven’t seen the original film, it's crucial to see it before watching SPOON VS. SPOON,” he adds, so you can watch both of them below (please note: SPOON VS. SPOON includes some non-work-safe language). You can also see “behind the spoons” photos and more at Gale’s Facebook page.
