REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA co-mastermind Terrance Zdunich has just unleashed a novel new way to promote his self-published, cockroach-littered pulp horror/drama comic THE MOLTING. He’s offering a self-described “Bob Ross meets Ted Bundy” video art tutorial on-line!

Simply log on here and check out the ghoulish first part of Zdunich’s on-line series, which features the writer/actor/artist in an eerie, plastic-wrapped room, staring at an easel and—in this first segment—teaching viewers how to draw a straight line… New installments will be added often, each one getting progressively weirder and darker, resulting in a completed painting by the series end. Anyone expecting the bombastic excess of REPO! should look elsewhere, though: This is subtle and slow-burning stuff.
