The new date shift puts the film up against Warner Bros' WHITEOUT starring Kate Beckinsale, and the animated 9.
The shift (first reported over at Box Office Mojo) was likely due to some steep competition on the October 2nd date, with Martin Scorsese's SHUTTER ISLAND, the new Michael Moore documentary, and the 3D releases of the TOY STORY films all vying for theatergoers money.
SORORITY ROW stars S. DARKO’s Briana Evigan, Leah Pipes, FROM WITHIN’s Rumer Willis and Margo Harshman, Jamie Chung, Audrina Patridge, and STAR WARS' Carrie Fisher. Directed by Stewart Hendler from a script by Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg, the new movie is a remake of 1982’s THE HOUSE ON SORORITY ROW—only this time, instead of accidentally killing their housemother, the girls of the titular house stage a prank that leads to the death of one of their own. Soon, a hooded figure begins threatening them and then bumping them off
