Originally slated to debut on October 2nd, Summit Entertainment's SORORITY ROW will now be released to theaters on September 11, 2009.The new date shift puts the film up against Warner Bros' WHITEOUT starring Kate Beckinsale, and the animated 9.
The shift (first reported over at Box Office Mojo) was likely due to some steep competition on the October 2nd date, with Martin Scorsese's SHUTTER ISLAND, the new Michael Moore documentary, and the 3D releases of the TOY STORY films all vying for theatergoers money.
SORORITY ROW stars S. DARKO’s Briana Evigan, Leah Pipes, FROM WITHIN’s Rumer Willis and Margo Harshman, Jamie Chung, Audrina Patridge, and STAR WARS' Carrie Fisher.
