Apprentaly a lot of people don't pay attention to sequels with a whole new cast they SUCK because the sequel won't talented people they get new people who have nvr been in a movie before and never will again and yes some of u r thinking about the grudge I am sorry but they sucked and got worse as they kept changing the cast and also final destination some people don't like how they change the cast but at least they can act and those movies r popular funny LOL and good at the same time so just think about for all the people who say they should replace sid or create a new cast in woodsborow no it will ruin all the movies even the first 3movies. The original Scream was fun, the two sequels sucked IMO. We dont need another sequel. If its made it will probably get sent straight to dvd anyway.

Yeah, I have to agree. I wish Williamson well but the last thing we need is a revisit to Scream-land. But this is how I imagine the scenario is gonna play out. Williamson writes a Scream 4, it gets made and makes decent bank because we horror fans are suckers, Dimension asks for another, The Philanthropist gets cancelled and Campbell's films play in only select theatres, she has a change of heart, meets with Williamson and blam, she's in Scream 5, has that scene where she comes face to face with the masked killer, audience whoops and hollers and we get another couple of Screams duelling with the Saw films for most useless series.

why not start over with a fresh new cast and a new herione since neve campbell doesn't want to do the role anymore, it could be a reboot for the next 3 scream films and a closer of the original 3 films,
look at the character of laurie strode played by jamie lee curtis she was in halloween 1,2 faked her death and the resurfaced in 7,8 why not have sid's character do the same thing and resurface in scream 5,6

Not hurting for work....unlike Keven Williamson must be as he is so deperate to get these films made. I really don't see a point in another 3 scream films and don't blame Neve for not caring either.
