IFC Films gave Fango the scoop that it has picked up writer/director Bob Badway’s THE UNINVITED (no relation to the DreamWorks supernatural frightfest from earlier this year), and passed on a new exclusive photo, which you can see below. Previously announced as a DVD release by another company, the movie will now debut as a video-on-demand title this summer.
Produced by Michael Emanuel, THE UNINVITED stars Marguerite Moreau as a woman who believes she’s been cured of her crippling childhood terror of open spaces. Strange events in the new house she has moved into with her husband (former Men at Work frontman Colin Hay), however, bring that fear back to the surface.
The film will be available starting July 8 via the following providers:
- Bright House: Movies on Demand—IFC in Theaters
- Cablevision: Movies on Demand—IFC in Theaters/Festival
- Direct
- Comcast: Channel 1—Movies & Events—IFC Festival Direct
