Yesterday became a lot more interesting around 3:30pm. I'd just returned from a quick trip to Babies 'R Us with my wife and daughter when I discovered an email from a producer at CNN. They asked me to call them ASAP about a story they were planning for last night's edition of Anderson Cooper 360 aka AC360.

First off I need to to a little bit of housekeeping here. I've been neglecting my blog section lately, and for that I apologize. It's been a busy time here in Fangoland, and in my personal life. My wife and I just welcomed our first child into the world last Friday, and while I was away for that a few cool things went down in the horror world - both courtesy of The Vault of Horror.

Actor/Rapper Kirk Jones aka Sticky Fingaz has dabbled in the horror genre quite a bit. Perhaps best known as the small screen version of Blade in SpikeTV's short-live BLADE: THE SERIES, Sticky's been seen in HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2, NITE TALES, and LEPRECHAUN: BACK 2 THA HOOD. Now he's jumped behind the camera to write and direct his first feature, A DAY IN THE LIFE - "the first film told entirely in rap." Could this be REPO! for the hip-hop crowd?
